Position Description

The Corporate Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for safeguarding product quality and ensuring the company is in compliance with regulatory standards. In addition, the individual will create and manage the sanitation, environmental monitoring, HACCP and hygiene programs for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with external resources, internal plant operations/maintenance/quality and engineering to ensure that sanitation programs, assurance policies and procedures are executed, monitored, applicable and compliant to regulatory and customer expectations/requirements.
  • Manage Plant Sanitation and Environmental Testing Programs.
  • Manage internal Plant Audit Programs (internal plant inspections after sanitation, plant inspections during production).
  • Verify sanitation programs are effective and followed.
  • Improve and adjust programs to meet changing regulations and customer expectations.
  • Review environmental and ATP results and analyze trends.
  • Manage the Product Recall Procedure, direct / coordinate all product recalls.
  • Develop and oversee an internal training program for GMP?s and Sanitation.
  • All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
  • All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor?s degree in Quality, Food Science or related field.
  • 5 years of quality management experience or more.
  • In depth understanding of quality processes and related issues.
  • Ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.
  • Ability to administer a proactive management approach.
  • Ability to provide leadership, support, communication and direction to personnel relating to quality issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • 30% of travel.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Master?s degree.
  • Food science experience.
  • SAP experience.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in an office setting.
  • Frequent exposure to industrial operations in a fast-paced production environment with average temperatures ranging from 28 to 90-60 degrees F. (temperatures, noise, moisture, moving machinery).
  • Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
