Human Resources Manager

This exciting Human Resources Manager role will proactively partner with site leaders and teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions and strategies, and ensure results and impact on people practices. Initiatives that this role will lead include talent acquisition; employee engagement activities and action-planning; performance management; employee development; and employee relations. In addition, the HR Manager will play the critical role of coach and advisor to site management teams.  This role is dedicated to two sites in close proximity to each other with approximately 150 total employees (Hiram & Newbury, OH) and reports to the Senior HR Business Partner. Responsibilities include: Deliver and execute solutions to meet managers' and employees' needs while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Understand the business environment, strategy and people implications. Provide people management coaching to managers and contribute to the development of managers' skills. Guide site leaders and employees regarding Company policies, values, HR programs administration and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner.  Provide consultative support, advice and solutions on all people related subjects, in conjunction with Senior HR Business Partner. Act as steward for attracting, developing and retaining diverse talent in the organization.  Assist site leadership in performance management and developing effective pipeline and succession plans. Facilitate change management with-in site or function(s) and help local managers meet and exceed people objectives for their area or function.     Profile description Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field Minimum 4 years experience in Human Resources preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.  HR certification, a plus. Working knowledge of HR laws and practices Computer proficiency, including a strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).  Intermediate spreadsheet and presentations skills. Skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) reporting and analysis. Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners. Proven ability to establish business partnerships with operational leaders in deployment of HR strategies to support business needs. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
