Reporting to the VP of Enrollment Management / Marketing and the CFO, the Executive Assistant provides executive support and coordinates daily operations for both the VP of Enrollment Management / Marketing and CFO office.
The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for most internal and external constituencies on most matters pertaining to the VP of Enrollment Management / Marketing and CFO's multiple areas of responsibility, while valuing and practicing confidentiality in all sensitive matters.

Responsibilities and Duties Executive Support Responsible for a broad variety of administrative tasks for both Office's including:
overseeing an extremely active calendar of appointments; coordinating meetings when requested; completing expense reports and p-card reconciliations; maintaining office files and records, both electronically and in paper; ordering and managing office supplies; issuing purchase orders; processing mail; preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; scheduling travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.
Serves in a gatekeeper role, where appropriate.
When directed, communicates on behalf of the VP of Enrollment, Marketing, and the CFO, with board members, staff, and others, on matters related to the VP and CFO responsibilities.
Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the VP and CFO, including those of a sensitive and confidential nature.
Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles projects and tasks expeditiously, proactively, and follows through to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Undertakes special projects as requested by the VP and CFO.
Serves as the recording secretary for the VP's and CFO's Board of Trustee Committee meetings.
Completes and assembles Committee meeting materials, minutes, and agendas.
Assists with various task force and committee minutes as assigned by the VP and CFO.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with board members, faculty, staff, students, and donors.
Expert level of written and communication skills.
Knowledgeable with the Microsoft Office Suite of software.
Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
Team-player with the ability to work effectively on an independent basis.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities and to meet demands and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Knowledge Strong oral and written communication skills and professional attitude.
Excellent customer service skills; demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, meet deadlines and follow-up while maintaining confidentiality.
Resourceful, flexible and good at problem-solving.
Experience Minimum of 5 years progressive administrative support experience, preferably supporting an executive level position.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
Good understanding of financial subjects and terminology.
Education Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience in an educational environment a plus but not required.
